Sanitation

Sanitation is the highlight of NOHO NY Business Improvement District (BID). The BID continues to work with Atlantic Maintenance Corporation, as it has for the past seven years. The responsibilities of our sanitation workers are not only to clean the streets of litter, remove posters from sidewalk scaffolding, paint street furniture, bag all trash, but also to maintain the high quality of life that the BID expects. The sanitation received a scorecard of 95%. If you are a property owner in NOHO and you have graffiti on your building you would like removed, please contact us at the BID: 212.677.4579. We will need a signed permission form to work on your building.

Public Safety (Security)

Our security team (Starr Security Services) fulfills the goals we have set for them; for example: setting up a 24-hour dispatcher for emergencies (the number is: 212-767-1110). The workers have become more involved in the security of our retail stores.

News and Outreach

NOHO NY strives to keep those in the community well-informed about past, current and future news, events and initiatives. We maintain a constant dialogue with community boards and city officials. We also support marketing initiatives that help to promote our commercial businesses, arts and theater institutions.
